I found a web site, pandora.com. It's an interesting service. I can create a "radio station" using a song or artist. They stream songs based on the major features of the song or artist. It worked well with Argentine Tango, but not Waltz music.
We did Cadencia and Giro. The routine with Cadencia goes like this:
1. Step to the left with the left foot.
2. Step forward with the right foot. Do not shift the weight to the right foot completely.
3. Shift the weight to the left foot.
4. Shift the weight to the right foot.
5. Step forward with the left foot.
6. Close the right foot to the left foot.
7. Step forward with the left foot.
8. Step to the right with the right foot.
9. Close the left foot to the right foot.
Cadencia consists of steps 2 to 4 above.
The routine with Giro goes like this:
1. Step to the left with the left foot.
2. Step forward with the right foot.
3. Step forward with the left foot. Start rotating to the left.
4. Pivot on the left foot to the left and step to the right with the right foot. Keep pivoting on both feet to the left if necessary.
5. Step backward with the left foot.
6. Step backward with the right foot slightly to the right.
7. Pivot on the right foot to the left and step to the left with the left foot. This step is small. Prepare to slow down for the next step.
8. Step forward with the right foot. Do not shift the weight to the right foot completely. This is the beginning of Cadencia.
9. Shift the weight to the left foot. Move the follower forward. Rotate the upper body to the right and lead the follower into Ocho.
10. Shift the weight to the right foot. Move the follower forward. Rotate the upper body to the left and lead the follower into Ocho.
11. Step forward with the left foot.
12. Step to the right with the right foot.
13 Close the left foot to the right foot.
On step 9, if the upper body rotation is performed while the follower is still moving forward, the follower will perform side step instead of Ocho. So, finish moving the follower forward, then lead the follower into Ocho.

We did Ocho, Sacada and Contra Molinete. Steps 1 to 5 are the same as the basic steps. The routine from step 6 for Ocho goes like this:
6. Rotate the body to the left.
7. Step backward with the left foot. Squeeze the right foot to the left foot.
8. Lead the follower into Ocho (clockwise).
9. Step forward with the right foot. Squeeze the left foot to the right foot.
10. Lead the follower into Ocho (counterclockwise).
11. Step forward with the left foot.
12. Step to the right with the right foot.
13. Close the left foot to the right foot.
Next, we did Sacada and Contra Molinete instead of Ocho. The routine from step 6 goes like this:
6. Rotate the body to the left.
7. Step backward with the left foot. Squeeze the right foot to the left foot.
8. Pivot on the left foot to the right. Step forward with the right foot in between the follower's feet (Sacada).
9. Pivot on the right foot to the right and step forward with the left foot outside (to the right) of the follower.
10. Rotate the upper body to the right and rotate the right foot along with the upper body. Step on the right foot. The follower performs Molinete. Keep rotating the upper body to the right.
11. Unwind the rotation.
12. Step forward with the left foot.
13. Step to the right with the right foot.
14. Close the left foot to the right foot.

We did Ocho. The routine goes like this:
1. Step to the left with the left foot.
2. Step forward with the right foot.
3. Step forward with the left foot. Signal the follower to do Cruzada.
4. Hook the right foot behind the left foot.
5. Rotate the body to the left a little. Then, step to the right with the right foot to move the follower forward. Lead the follower into Ocho (clockwise). Squeeze the left foot to the right foot without shifting the weight.
6. Step to the left with the left foot to move the follower forward. Lead the follower into Ocho (counterclockwise). Squeeze the right foot to the left foot without shifting the weight.
7. Step to the right with the right foot to move the follower forward. Lead the follower into Ocho (clockwise). Squeeze the left foot to the right foot. Shift the weight to the left foot (Double Step).
8. Step forward with the right foot diagonally to the left. Move the follower forward and rotate the follower to the left.
9. Finish with Resolución.
We changed the routine from step 7. The modified routine goes like this:
7. Step to the right with the right foot to move the follower forward. Lead the follower into Ocho (clockwise). Squeeze the left foot to the right foot without shifting the weight.
8. Step to the left with the left foot. Step the follower forward. Squeeze the right foot to the left foot without shifting the weight.
9. Step to the right with the right foot. Move the follower backward. Squeeze the left foot to the right foot without shifting the weight.
10. Step to the left with the left foot. Move the follower forward. Squeeze the right foot to the left foot without shifting the weight.
11. Step to the right with the right foot to move the follower backward. Lead the follower into Back Ocho (counterclockwise). Squeeze the left foot to the right foot without shifting the weight.
12. Step to the left with the left foot to move the follower backward. Lead the follower into Back Ocho (clockwise). Squeeze the left foot to the right foot without shifting the weight.
13. Step to the right with the right foot to move the follower backward. Lead the follower into Back Ocho (counterclockwise). Squeeze the left foot to the right foot. Shift the weight to the left foot (Double Step).
14. Step forward with the right foot.
15. Finish with Resolución.
Steps 8 and 9 are optional. Back Ocho can be started right after step 7.
I think that I can lead the follower into Molinete from step 14.

We did the following routine:
1. (S) Step backward with the right foot.
2. (S) Step to the left with the left foot.
3. (S) Step forward with the right foot.
4. (Q) Step forward with the left foot. Don't shift the weight to the left foot completely.
5. (Q) Shift the weight to the right foot.
6. (S) Step backward with the left foot. Point the left foot to the right.
7. (S) Pivot on the left foot to the right and step to the right with the right foot. This step should be small.
8. (S) Step forward with the left foot slightly to the right.
9. (S) Pivot on the left foot to the right and step forward with the right foot. This forward step is the same as step 3 of the basic steps. Face the Line Of Dance.
10. (S) Step forward with the left foot.
11. (S) Lead the follower into Cruzada. Close the right foot to the left foot and shift the weight to the right foot.
12. (S) Step forward with the left foot.
13. (S) Step to the right with the right foot.
14. (S) Close the left foot to the right foot and shift the weight to the left foot.
By the way, the move we did last week is called Media Vuelta (a half turn) with Traspié.

We did Molinete (http://www.tejastango.com/terminology.html#molinete) and Giro (http://www.tejastango.com/terminology.html#giro).
The routine with Molinete goes like this:
1. Step to the left with the left foot.
2. Step forward with the right foot. The weight needs to be moved completely to the right foot. The follower steps backward with the left foot. This is the beginning of Molinete.
3. Start pivoting on the right foot to the left. Step the follower to the right with the right foot.
4. Keep pivoting on the right foot. Step the follower forward with the left foot, then pivot on the left foot to the left.
5. Finish the rotation. Step forward with the left foot.
The routine with Giro goes like this:
1. Step to the left with the left foot.
2. Step forward with the right foot. Start rotating to the right.
3. Pivot on the right foot to the right, then step to the left diagonally back with the left foot. This step might be bigger than the previous steps.
4. Pivot on the left foot to the right and swing the right foot clockwise (to the right) on the floor. Then squeeze the right foot to the left foot. Do not shift the weight to the right foot.
5. Step forward with the right foot diagonally to the right. Lead the follower into Ocho. The follower will pivot counterclockwise.
6. Step forward with the left foot.

We did the following routine:
1. (S) Step backward with the right foot.
2. (S) Step to the left with the left foot.
3. (S) Step forward with the right foot. Rotate the upper body to the right.
4. (Q) Step forward with the left foot.
5. (Q) Hook the right foot behind the left foot.
6. (S) Pivot on the left foot to the right. Complete a half turn. Switch positions with the follower.
7. (S) Rotate to the left and step to the right with the right foot. This step has to be small.
8. (S) Pivot on the right foot to the right. Complete another half turn. Step forward with the left foot.
Nora told me that step 4 of the basic needs to be a little bigger than the other steps.

We did Ocho and Gancho.
The routine with Ocho goes like this:
1. Lead the follower into Cruzada. Hook the right foot behind the left foot.
2. Rotate the upper body to the left a little. This upper body rotation creates an offset between the dancers, so that the follower can step forward more easily. Rotate the body to the right to step the follower forward. Lead the follower into Ocho (clockwise).
3. Step the follower forward and into Ocho (counterclockwise).
4. Step the follower forward and into Ocho (clockwise).
5. Repeat step 3.
6. Step forward with the left foot.
We changed the above Ocho routine like this:
1. Lead the follower into Cruzada. Hook the right foot behind the left foot.

We did Salida Cruzada and one more move. I'll ask the teacher the name of the other move.
Salida Cruzada goes like this:
1. (1) Step backward with the right foot.
2. (2) Step to the left with the left foot.
3. (&) Close the right foot to the left foot and shift the weight to the right foot.
4. (3) Step forward with the left foot to the right side of the follower.
5. (4) Step forward with the right foot to the right side of the follower.
6. (5) Wait for the follower to cross the feet.
7. (6) Step forward with the left foot.
8. (7) Step to the right with the right foot.
9. (8) Close the left foot to the right foot and shift the weight to the left foot.
The timing is shown inside the parentheses.
We used steps 1 to 3 above for the other move and the steps from step 4 go like this:
4. Step forward with the left foot to the left side of the follower.
5. Pivot on the left foot to the left and step to the right with the right foot. This side step should be closer to the follower. The follower's position is almost perpendicular to the leader.
6. Hook the left foot behind the right foot and land to the right of the right foot. The weight is still on the right foot.
7. Start pivoting on the right foot to the left. Step the follower forward with the left foot.
8. Step the follower to the right with the right foot. The follower faces the leader. Stop the rotation and shift the weight to the left foot.
9. Step forward with the right foot.
10. Step forward with the left foot.
11. Close the right foot to the left foot and shift the weight to the right foot.
After step 11, the last 3 steps of the basic steps can be performed.
I had to skip a class last week, so I don't have the remaining steps for the last blog entry.

I took Jim Morton's Intermediate Night Club Two Step class. We learned two routines. The first routine goes like this:
1. SQQSQQ: perform a full basic.
2. SQQ: perform Under Arm Turn, change the hands to Right To Right.
3. SQQ: perform Open Break.
4. S: rotate to the right 90 degrees and step to the left with the left foot, raise the right hand, rotate the follower to the left, catch the follower's left hand with the left hand.
5. QQ: move the follower forward and rotate the follower to the left leading with the right hand.
6. S: step forward with the right foot, Right Over Left.
7. QQ: step forward with the left foot, rotate the follower to the right; pivot on the left foot to the left 90 degrees and step to the right with the right foot.
8. S: the weight should be on the right foot.
9. QQ: perform Open Break, lower the right hand, raise the left hand.
10. S: step forward with the left foot curving to the left, begin moving into Hammer Lock.
11. QQ: step forward with the right foot; step forward with the left foot, finish in Hammer Lock.
12. S: step forward with the right foot, release the right hand.
13. QQ: step forward with the left foot, start Outside Turn, step forward with the right foot.
14. S: step forward with the left foot.
15. QQ: step forward with the right foot; step forward with the left foot.
16. S: pivot on the left foot to the left and step to the right with the right foot, catch the follower on the leader's right side like in 5th Position Break.
17. QQ: perform Rock Back with the left foot; close the right foot to the left foot, rotate the body to the left.
18. S: step forward with the left foot slightly to the right while rotating the body to the left. hand connection should be Left To Right, to be ready to start Inside Turn on the next beat.
19. QQ: step to the right with the right foot, start Inside Turn; cross the left foot in front of the right foot, finish Inside Turn.
20 . S: step to the right with the right foot, be ready for the next move.
The second part goes like this:
1. SQQSQQ: perform a full basic.
2. SQQ: perform Under Arm Turn, maintain Left To Right.
3. SQQ: perform Open Break; step backward with the left foot slightly to the left; cross the right foot in front of the left foot.
4. S: pivot on the right foot to the right and step to the left with the left foot, raise the left hand.
5. QQ: the follower performs Progress Outside Turn.
6. S: catch the follower's left hand with the right hand.
7. QQ: Rotate the follower to the left towards the leader. The connecting hands will wrap around the follower.
8. S: catch the follower on the leader's right side.
9. QQ: dip to the left.
10. S: finish dipping.
11. QQ: send the follower out.
12. S: stop the follower's rotation.
13. QQ: pull the follower forward and lead into Free Spin.
14. S: catch the follower in front of the leader and step forward with the left foot.
15. QQ: step backward with the right foot slightly to the right; cross the left foot in front of the right foot.
20 . S: step to the right with the right foot, be ready for the next move.
